Arriba Arriba! Mexican Jewellery From Bow and Crossbones

Happy New Year, everyone! Things have been a little crazy over the past few months, but now is the time to get back into writing on this blog and sharing some fabulous news and products.

This Christmas I was lucky enough to receive a gorgeous package from Bow and Crossbones – a wonderful Rockabilly-inspired website that specialises in clothing, jewellery and accessories. I love the fact that they do so much Mexican-style jewellery so I jumped at the chance to get my hands on one of their stunning cacti sets.

The set I received included a necklace with a mandolin, cacti and sombreros on it, a sparkly cactus brooch and sparkly cacti earrings. I put the brooch straight onto my cape to wear out for New Year’s Eve and matched the necklace with a festive green dress from Collectif. Made from laser cut plastic resin, the jewellery is well made and the glitter catches the light to really make it stand out. I’ve had a lot of compliments on the set and intend to wear it at any given opportunity. I can’t wait for the summer so I can pair it with my 1950s souvenir Mexican jackets! Mexicana overload!
